Double Success for Sutho in Sydney Metro Junior Competition

The final weekend of juniors for the 2017 season didn’t disappoint for Sutho Hockey with the club bringing home two Sydney premiership trophies last Friday night 15/9/17.

U15 Metro Sutho Blue

The U15 team were up first against Ryde and in was a close and exciting game for the full 60 minutes that kept the spectators on the edge of the seats. Sutho Blue dug deep and were able to hold off a strong Ryde team to win the 2017 Premiership 3-2. Congratulations to Ryde Hockey Club on a great game and well done to all the U15 Sutho Blue players and Coach Peter Tait and Manager Tony Neale on a fantastic 2017 season. Congratulations to Zak Keelan on being named Player of the Grand Final.

U17 Metro Sutho

Next up was our U17 Metro team who again had a close and excited game against Briars. The U17’s despite being scored against first by Briars, really stepped up and took control of the game to win 3-1. Congratulations to Briars Hockey Club on a great game and well done to our U17 Metro team and Coach Sean Kelly and Manager Lee-Ann Callinan on a great season. Congratulations to Harry Roberts on being named Player of the Grand Final.
