With the 2017 season just around the corner its time to turn our attention to our youngest members of the club our Minkey players.
Focusing on kids ages 4 to 9, Minkey hockey is great way for kids to experience a sport and at the same time socialise with friends and have fun. We hold our Minkey Hockey Program on a friday afternoon from 4.30pm at our fabulous venue complete with a clubhouse which allows parents to sit back and enjoy on a Friday afternoon.
If you are interesting in your child playing Minkey Hockey, we are holding two registration days this year at the ground to enable you to register your child or simply come in and have a chat. Our registration days are:
- Thursday 2nd February – 6.30pm to 8pm
- Saturday 4th February – 10am to 1pm.
Cost for Minkey this year will be:
First Child: $70.00
Siblings: $55.00

For families whose children are turning 9 or 10 this year and looking to play in u11 teams then we also have a few options available for you. If you would like more information on playing U11’s please email juniors@sutho.com.au and we can send you further information on playing U11’s.
For any families who may be interested in participating in a Saturday morning U7 or U9 local competition, we are also considering putting in some Sutherland teams into the local competition which will be played on Sydney South Hockey Association’s new turfs at Greenhills. If this is of interest to you please let us know so we can assess the level of interest.
Finally, hockey is much more fun when you bring along your friends to play so please feel free to share this information to any family or friends who may have children interested in playing hockey this year.
