Sutherland Hockey Club is again running our highly successful annual Tradies Primary School Gala Day. We invite you and your school to participate. This is a great way for kids to enjoy representing their school, plus for those who have never played the game, it provides a great introduction to hockey, an Olympic Sport at which Australia excels in both men’s (Kookaburras #1 in the world) and women’s (Hockeyroos #2 in the world). The teams will all play on our newly laid synthetic field, which is the same as that to be played on at the 2020 Olympic Games and the 2019 World Cup. WHEN: Tuesday 24th September 2019 (last Tuesday of Term 3). 8.30 am – 3 pm. WHERE: Our NEW synthetic surface at Tradies Hockey Park, Sylvania Rd (between Box Rd and Garnet Rd) DETAILS: Two divisions – Junior Primary (Yrs 3-4) & Senior Primary (Yrs 5-6). COST: $80 per team. Canteen facilities are available all day. If needed, our Club can provide some coaching guidance for teams.
